Product Description For use with Terk TV Anywhere Wavemaster Wireless System
Amazon.com Product Description The Terk LF30-RX acts as an extra receiver for the LF-30S Leapfrog A/V system, helping users transmit and receive wireless audio and video signals throughout the house. Thanks to the LF-30S (sold separately), users can store all their A/V components, including satellite receivers, DVRs, DVD players, or camcorders, in one room, while watching audio and video footage in other rooms--all without running any wires on the floor or through the walls. The handy system also eliminates the necessity of buying extra components for each TV. Users can even transmit audio files, such as MP3 or WMA music, from an office computer to a pair of powered speakers in the living room. The LF30-RX receiver is an add-on to the LF-30S, which initially comes with one transmitter and one receiver. This LF30-RX connects to a second TV or speaker system through its stereo RCA audio and video outputs or its coaxial F-type RF output. Once connected, it transmits IR remote commands to the main transmitter, and then receives clear, crisp signals across the 2.4 GHz frequency band. The system offers a generous range of 150 feet, and easily penetrates walls, doors, ceilings, and floors without interference. In addition, a built-in modulator ensures that you can connect to any TV, whether brand-new or old. And though the LF30-RX is a single unit, users can also buy additional LF30-RX receivers to connect even more TVs to the wireless system. The receiver measures 5.5 by 1.75 by 3.75 inches (W x H x D). What's in the Box Receiver unit, AC adapter, AV cable, RF cable and owners manual.

TV Anywhere wirelessly February 27, 2010 Skipalong This is the second set of Wireless TV AV Systems I have bought. The first came from Best Buy and worked well but it took a while for the connection to be made and my wireless routers and phones caused a problem with reception. I decided to buy a new one but found this updated version instead. It works perfectly! As soon as you turn it on it is connected! The picture is perfectly clear with no interruption from my wireless router connection or the phone that is 2.4 also. The Micro does cause interference, though, but it is not something that is running all of the time.
I have the transmitter attached to the DVR and 3 receivers positioned throughout the house. I would recommend this to anyone that would like to save the cost of extra cable or satellite boxes.
The only con is that the remote does not work through the receivers. You will have to physically change the channel at the trasmitter site.
SoSo December 28, 2008 L. White I bought this receiver to go along with my existing Leap Frog wireless A/V system....I put one in the kitchen and it worked well with the old base receiver...Then I added one in my husbands hobby room and it just didn't pick up a signal at all, so I changed it out with the old one (which pics up fine) and put this one in our bedroom which was a lot closer to the receiver...It just does not operate well over 25 feet..
not perfect, but works November 16, 2008 valkmancarl (Lexington, SC United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the third receiver I am using in my home and for the most part, it works as advertised. Placement and aiming is the key to good performance as some computers, wireless networks and phones will cause interference. Microwaves will totally destroy the signal while in use. I couldn't get the remote extender to work properly however. But for my use that's no big deal. For my application, it's a lot easier using one of these receivers than running wire under my house.
Great Performer! September 15, 2008 W. Yeager (Newport, TN USA) System has worked flawlessly for the 6+ months I have had it in use. I would recommend this to anyone needing additional TV connections to their satellite, etc. One caveat, make sure there are no other 2.4ghz units (phone, router, etc.) or they will definitely produce interference.
It Didn't Work September 8, 2008 turnzwood 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased the the Terk LF30-RX add-on to work with a Terk LF-30S System I purchased about 5 years ago. On the surface the two are supposed to be compatible as they opperate on the same frequencies. How ever I was never able to get the either of two add-on units, purchased from different retailers, to communicate with my older system. I spent a half an hour with a Terk technician with no resolution. I would not recommend getting this unit to work with an older base unit.
