Product Description
Intended for people at great distances from the transmitters, the DB8 is our most powerful multi-directional HD antenna. In fact, its 15.8 dB gain make it one of the most powerful multi-directional antennas available. The bow tie design of the DB8 uses triangular elements instead of rods to greatly increase the bandwidth allowing it to cover the entire UHF band. Additionally, the mesh reflector of the bowtie is more efficient than a rod reflector, is lower in weight, and provides less wind resistance for greater performance and durability. This DB8 is the ideal antenna for use in locations that can pull long range signals from various directions and offers an attractive alternative to using a directional antenna mounted on a rotator.

This antenna is lightweight and easy to assemble, the picture quality is great, and I consistently receive signals from transmitters 80 miles away.

Great buy, installed in my attic and we are over 60 miles from transmitters. Recieve more than 20 channels. Clear and with a very strong signal. Very glad I got this. Now we can watch local TV when the Dish goes out.
Excellent quality, good results from long distances... July 10, 2010

I have owned this antennae for about a year and it produces excellent results for digital stations at long distances. I live at least 50 miles from any broadcast station and am able to bring in several digital HD broadcasts using a digital converter box.
I have yet to be able to get this unit mounted outside on a high pole... so my results are amazing as I have the antennae hanging on a bedroom wall now and still get great results. Weather does affect reception... mostly because I do not have clear line-of-sight... which I will gain when I am able to get the outside mounting done.
The only reason I did not give this product a five rating is the assembly instructions are not clear and require a bit of trial and error to figure out how to get it put together properly.
If you cannot afford the high monthly fees associated with cable/satellite TV services, then this antennae will give great results from fringe areas when coupled with a good digital converter box and proper placement of the antennae.
Delivery was fast and efficient which is one of the reasons I continue to buy from Amazon.

I received 38 digital channels just by connecting and hanging it outside of my window - the picture quality on HD channels is stunning. The assembly instructions were slightly bit confusing and I ended up using a youtube clip for to confirm the end result. Antenna arrived very well packed - time from opening the box to connected and working was about 15 minutes.

This is a excellent antenna for me. It pulls in more stations than the other outdoor antenna I was using. The instructions were a bit weak, but eventually I was able to get it correctly assembled.
