Save your money June 22, 2010 frodotwo (Wisconsin) I have a camper in a seasonal campground (heavily wooded) and recently purchased digital TV's and was disappointed by the reception. Channels would fade out or not come in at all depending upon the weather or time of day. I was researching different antennas when I came upon this and thought favorably of it due to the reviews. I purchased this antenna upgrade and was happy with the price and the fast shipping but was totally disappointed by the reception. I now get 4 less channels than before and several fade out more than before. I'll be looking for something else to solve my problem because this was not it.
Disappointed June 16, 2010 Jack Welch (Kingston, WA) I made two mistakes....I didn't buy this from Amazon so I paid too much....and I should not have botheed to buy it at all. I am disappointed with this product. Without the Wingman I get one VHF channel...with Wingman I get the same single VHF Channel. I was hoping it would help with the UHF channels as I am 10 miles from Seattle as the crow flies. My test in in my own backyard. Without the Wingman..or with...using the booster amp that Winnebago so wisely included in my 1999 Advventurer motorhome I get 26 channels. I was hoping the Wingman would work in tanden with the booster to give me better reception on those UHF channels but it did nothing. At least it did not degredate the signal as it shows in some reviews of the product. Maybe it will do better when I am on the road...but I have my doubts. But it looks cool when the antenna is up and I'm sure my fellow campers will be impressed. I might have done better upgrading my TV from a CRT to a flat screen.
Good addition to existing antenna June 1, 2010 R. Church This was easy to attach to my existing Winegard antenna, and it seems to help pick up more stations. Worth the cost.
SATISFIED May 31, 2010 Victor W. Diepholz, Jr. (near St.Louis, MO.) The antenna upgrade worked better than expected. I pulled in stations from 60 miles away with no pixelizing. PERFECT.
It really works! May 5, 2010 azloafer (Arizona) We added this upgrade to our RV Winegard Antenna and tested it in the same location before having it. We get 3 times the channels and no cutting out during a show. The picture is better than our cable TV picture at home. This is the best RV add-on that we have purchased. The price is very fair also. Free TV is hard to beat!
