It works March 12, 2010 Fei Gao (NY) I bought it several days ago at $25, and received in 3 days shipped by UPS. It works as description,
I can receive 16 digital channels and 2 analogy channels, not disappointed.
Before you make a decision to buy this antenna, I suggest you should go to [..]
to check if you can in the functional areas of transmission towers and make sure this small multi-directional
antenna works for you.
very annoying... don't take the chance March 12, 2010 X. Ma (Ann Arbor, Michigan) This antenna actually worked pretty well for a couple of weeks, and then it started losing channels one by one. When I finally decided to send it back, it's already out of the full return period, so I kept it because it gave pretty good picture quality and there's always a chance that the lost channels will come up again some time, but some time get lost again... anyway, it was very annoying. Until one day, I borrowed my buddy's antenna and tried it on my TV, and suddenly every channel popped up. So I bought the same one that my buddy has, and wow... all the hdtv channels are crystal clear and very stable. I believe for some people, depending on your location, this antenna might work for you and its picture quality is fine, but if I were you, I wouldn't take the chance. By the way, the new one I bought is also around 25 bucks, which really proves that this antenna is not doing the work that it's supposed to.
No better than rabbit ears February 27, 2010 steve I purchased this based on [...] saying I should purchase a unidirectional antenna (the furthest tower is 5 miles away).
Still experienced significant issues with channels cutting out, and some of them were worse with this antenna than the rabbit ears.
I did find one solution that works... I took the amplifier from this antenna and ran the rabbit ears through it. That eliminated most of my issues.
Great inexpensive antenna February 19, 2010 M. Hawkins 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Decided to get rid of Comcast and go with free broadcast. As we were only getting "Basic Cable" package, it wasn't digital, so when I converted to this antenna, suddenly the picture was crisp, clear, and gorgeous. There is only one network that we can't pick-up here in SF (NBC), but they have a weak signal and it is expected. Otherwise all available broadcast networks/channels received in perfection. Why pay for something that we can access for free?!
RCA Antenna ANT1450M February 18, 2010 Hirak K. Dutt (Sydney, Australia) I had used other indoor antennas before with my TV but performance of ANT1450M is the best of all. I receive more than 80% of the free HDTV digital signals.
