2 out of 5 stars Did better with rabbit ears   July 27, 2010
Donald Lodwick
I bought this antenna to replace a set of amplified rabbit ears from radio shack. According to antenna web and winegard this should more than meet my needs. The reception was worse and I actually lost a couple of channels. I hooked the rabbit ears back up and now use them as another amplifier for the antenna. I plan on trying to return the product.

2 out of 5 stars Does not pick up UHF   July 16, 2010
S. Anderson (Baja California)
Another much cheaper UHF antenna picks up 3 HD UHF stations.
This antenna after trying for 2 hours will not pickup any of those stations.
Antenna was poorly packed. The heavy power transformer was loose in the box.
It did pickup channel 8.1 , but so does my homemade diople antenna. First item out of about 50 , I've ever returned to Amazon.

5 out of 5 stars Antenna Review   July 1, 2010

Perfect choice. We have now purchased a second for our vacation home. Great quality, clarity and picture.

5 out of 5 stars Great antenna   June 16, 2010
Jeff C. (Nebraska)
I wasn't sure at first if this would be the right antenna for me. It turns out it was the perfect antenna for me. We live 52 miles from 3 of the TV towers and they come in very clear. I even have it mounted in my attic. I was talking to my neighbor about it and after he saw the reception we get, he got the same antenna and also loves it. we get 22 channels with this antenna. All of the major networks.

5 out of 5 stars Winegard GS-2200 for VHF in attic   May 14, 2010
G. Heil
I bought this antenna solely for VHS transmitters about 35 miles away. Installed in my attic I had a strong test signal on a short cable, but on the actual 50ft RG-6 cable run the amp lost over 50% of the gain. It works well, but the amplifier needed to be a bit stronger for a long cable run. It would certainly perform much better on a roof, but that is not an option for my installation. Also, this antenna could not share a cable with another amp, but needed a second cable merged past the amplifiers, then it worked as specified.
