Very Good directional 75 ohm UHF antenna August 10, 2010

I bought this second Winegard HD9095P UHF antenna to couple it with the first one I installed. My antennas are in a first floor attic and I am about 45 miles from the transmitters. I wanted very directional antennas to help minimize any amplifier overload from stronger nearby transmitters in other directions. They are spaced about 31 inches apart and work very well in tandem.

This is a very well-built antenna and works extremely well. I have it side-mounted on my antenna mast in a fixed location (no rotor). I like the built-in matching transformer which also is very sturdy. The multi-point mount is a great feature since I live in a very windy location. I wouldn't use this antenna center-mounted on top of a rotor, though, since it's entire weight distribution would be on one side of rotor (bad for the rotor's bearings). But, there are other models made for this purpose. Great price once again from Amazon!
